In Covid times people will be...which best describes you?

The Bible says many things, most of it ignored. Like a parent or priest who in love, pleads with an advising message - yet message ignored, frustration and demise therefore ensues.

"In a tweet on Monday, the New York based doctor took to twitter exposing the truth about masks saying: “The government is trying to shut our mouths and cover our faces with masks. No basis in science. Covid-19 is around 0.1 microns. Masks block particles of more than 0.4 microns. In other words, masks don’t stop covid. End the tyranny and lies”He then cited a study demonstrating the uselessness of masks blasting those who refuse to review the science and data recorded in the publication.

"But know this, that in the last day's perilous times will come:

For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God. Having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!"

 2 Timothy 3:2

These are unique times. People- are hard to figure out. Best be on one's A-game.  But what is this game- really?

2 Timothy  3:2 mentions what people will be like in the end times. And these below mentioned attributes signify problematic behaviors.

Lovers of themselves- Those who love themselves in a manner that excludes, denies, diminishes the other- our neighbor.

Lovers of money- Money is the number one "priority" above anything and everything else.

Boasters- Self Promotion, of one's abilities and achievements and position. Boasting over others!

Proud- Having no respect for others-Thinking one has attained things on their own merit void of God's hand in their life. They think they are smarter, faster, better than anyone else. Ignoring the weak, marginalized. underprivileged.

Blasphemers-Those who act out like it is their job to criticize authority, heads of state, government, parents, brothers, sisters, pastors, colleagues, friends, partners, spouses, anyone. Those who lash out at others in a cruel and obnoxious unfounded manner.

Disobedient to parents- No humility or respect toward parents as the role of teacher, provider, and authority of their home.

Unthankful- Ignoring any effort or sacrifice made by anyone. Distaining any effort made as irrelevant.

UnHoly- No sense of sacredness or respect of God, the Holy Spirit, or Jesus Christ our Lord. Dismissing and shunning the Creator, the Words of God,

Unforgiving-Holding one to task for any wrong made. Hateful, despising, and vengeful. Not releasing one from a mistake.

Slanderers-One who mocks others, one who uses words to criticize, to pull another down another maliciously. To speak evil of one another loosely without facts or truth.

Without self-control- A person without self-control is like a city without walls. A city without walls is easily attacked. Self-control is protection from those who view our weaknesses as an opportunity to attack us and control us. For example, doing anything that gains control over our own freedom.

Brutal: Cruel, Harsh, Evil, and Obnoxious.

Despisers of Good: Hating on anyone who is nice, wholesome, and genuine just because.

Traitors- Selling anyone for a price or cause- good or bad irrelevant.

Headstrong- Stubbornly wanting to be right, and wanting one's way always disregarding others' right to humanity and Justice.

Haughty- Arrogant, an unpleasant, and unhealthy view of oneself which is toxic to others.

Lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God- People who just can not be bothered with what Our Creator says.

Having a form of Godliness but denying its power- Religious people, righteous people who give an appearance of godliness but really do if for arrogance's sake rather than experience and witness Christ's power at work in the situation. They themselves are the authority rather than God, the Holy Spirit, or Jesus Christ.

If any of these descriptions might describe you and me- we can ask God to help us change toward spiritual wholeness- why because what we're doing is not working in bringing world peace and justice to all.

How we treat each other is of utmost importance to the order and harmony of the universe.

James 1: 26 "If anyone among you thinks he is religious and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one's religion is useless.
